It is crucially important for people with lived experience (Experts by Experience, Service Users) to play a role in developing and producing social and healthcare services. To strengthen their capacity and possibilities to be involved, their education should be planned and carried out genuinely based on participants’ needs. It should lie on the basic ideas of recovery orientation.

This is the idea of the “Embedding an Emancipatory Educational Framework in Communities for people marginalized and excluded because of mental health and/or substance misuse issues” project.
